Explore, Sip, Stamp: Ottawa’s Inaugural Craft Beer Week is Here!

Ottawa, ON – July 24, 2024 – Get ready, Ottawa! The nation's capital is set to host its first-ever Ottawa Craft Beer Week. From August 23rd to August 30th, 2024, the city will come alive with the vibrant culture of craft brewing, and you’re invited to join in on the fun!

More than 20 local breweries, bars, and restaurants have come together to celebrate Ottawa’s thriving craft beer scene with a week-long series of events. Expect a spectacular array of tours, tastings, and music designed to delight everyone from new craft beer drinkers to seasoned beer enthusiasts.

To make the most of Ottawa Craft Beer Week, start by planning your itinerary. Pick up your passport at your first brewery stop and collect stamps as you visit different locations. Post a shot of your stamped passport on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #OCBW for a chance to win fun prizes. The more stamps you collect, the better your chances of winning!

Here are some highlights of Ottawa Craft Beer Week:

• Kick-Off Party: Join us at Spark Beer on August 23rd for the official launch of Ottawa Craft Beer Week. Enjoy a live DJ, food specials, and a wide variety of Spark beer and guest taps.
• Brewery Events: Engage with the community through fun activities like trivia nights and karaoke. Check out the events calendar on https://ottawacraftbeerweek.ca for details.
• Brew Donkey Shuttles: Both Fridays of OCBW Brew Donkey will provide hop on hop off shuttles to participating breweries.
